Chairco began in July 1986 in Brisbane as City Upholstery; manufacturing office chairs and seating, repairing office chairs, and reupholstering all modern and traditional seating. After sighting the Dual Density seat design, a decision was made to cease manufacturing office chairs and market office chairs that had identifiable benefits for the user.
Shortly after that the name was changed to Chairco with its unmistakable logo. In its 30+ years Chairco has witnessed many changes. From 4 leg manual height adjustable chairs through to the full ergonomic gas lift computer task chairs of today. Chairco has kept pace with the changes that are of benefit to the individual body and has discarded those innovations that are cosmetic. Chairco today has a large range of effective seating from well known Australian brands plus some well known quality imports.

Shipping Policy
We deliver Australia wide.
Deliveries are made during business hours to an address where someone will be required to accept delivery.
Stock chairs and goods can be dispatched within 24 hours.
Custom goods can take from 2 to 5 weeks from order.
Imported goods can take 8 to 16 weeks from order.
Returns Policy
Chairco wants you to be satisfied with your purchases and we provide as much information as we can so that you can make an informed purchasing decision.
We will assist you with any return according to the following conditions: (excludes custom made/special order products)

Returns Policy

We will assist you with any return according to the following conditions: (excludes custom made/special order products)
- Returns on Standard ( non custom*** ) must be sought within 48 hours. Returns must be in original, new, resaleable condition. Returns which have been altered, damaged eg; dropped or broken will not be accepted back by Chairco. NB: Showroom sale or discounted items are non-returnable.
- For all return enquiries you must first notify us in writing by email: info@chairco.com.au
- In the case of goods received but found to be unsuitable and a request for a return is sought within 48 Hours of your receipt of the goods, we will honour this provided that the goods are in their original packaging and condition. The cost and responsibility of returning the goods to us safely will be borne by you. Please note that the shipping fee paid to us when you purchased the goods is not refundable. Please send the goods back securely packed to avoid transit damage.
- Returns incur a 20% re-stocking fee.
- In the case of faulty goods, (confirmed faulty by manufacturer) an arrangement will be made for the manufacturers agent to replace or rectify the faulty component.
- ***Special order products (eg: custom furniture and custom colours) and clearance/discount items may not be returned or exchanged.
